Stephen Scott Tanner, 61

Steve was born to Karl and Melda Tanner on July 14, 1961 in Murray, Utah. He passed away on March 22, 2023 at his home in Arizona.

He married the love of his life, Erlene Dowdle on April 24, 1984. He loved his children, Jessica (whom he adopted), Joshua Scott and Robert. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather.

Steve was a very hard working man and love to help whenever he could, at any length. He owned and ran several business over the years. T&H Repair, A1 American Towing and Repair, and Niter Pine Works.

He loved the outdoors, hunting, fishing, golfing, snowmobiling and 4 wheeling.

He is survived by his loving wife Erlene, daughter Jessica (Cory) Weekes, and son Robert. 2 grandchildren Robbert and Jade and a great grandson Samson.

He is also survived by siblings Jon Tanner, Marty (Sheri) Tanner, Cindy (Rob) Hamilton, Dan (Alisa) Tanner, Brian Tanner, Sister in law Wendy Tanner, Tom (Kim) Tanner, Cathy (Darin) Moon, and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by a son, Joshua, his parents and a brother Gary Tanner.

At this time there will be no funeral service. A celebration of his life will be held at a later date.
