Danny Shane Coates

August 25, 1953 — May 5, 2023

Danny Shane Coates, 69, passed away from a year long battle with cancer in Surprise, AZ.

Danny graduated from Clearfield High and later earned his BS degree. He served in the US Navy and retired from Luke Air Force Base. He owed and operated a tractor landscaping business.

Danny is survived by his wife Mary Coates, sister Pamela (Wallace) Raitt, two nephews, six nieces and his beloved dogs Maggie and Bear and horse Stoney.

He was preceded in death by his parents Wayne and Bonnie Coates. Graveside services with military honors will be held on May 31st in Buckeye, Arizona.
