Jackie graduated from Ogden High School. She was an active member of the LDS Church and served in many capacities. She was an active member of the Daughters of Utah Pioneers.

Jackie is survived by 2 daughters, Nancy (Scott) Hansen and Louise (Phil) Spencer. She is also survived by 3 grandsons, Matthew (Angie) Mortenson, Micah (Melissa) Mortenson and Michael (Kira) Mortenson, 3 granddaughters, Laura (Eric) Lively, Abby (Thomas) Dean, Jan (Spencer) Hafer, 2 step grandsons, Brody and Rusty (Carol) Spencer, 19 great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews, and dear friends. Jackie’s friends, whom she loved dearly, were a very important part of her life.

Jackie was preceded in death by her husband Ray, 3 sons, Greg (Caralee), Paul and Lance Mortenson, her daughter Anne, 2 grandchildren Sara and Scott, 3 sisters Mae Norton, Louise Wade and Jeanne Call, a brother James and her parents.

Funeral Services will be held at 11 am on Wednesday, November 29, 2023 at Myers Mortuary, 845 Washington Blvd., Ogden, Utah where a viewing will be held prior from 9:30 to 10:45 a.m. Interment, Washington Heights Memorial Park.

We’d like to give our thanks and gratitude to all of the people that helped mom stay in her home that she loved and lived in for almost 75 years. Wonderful neighbors Stegan’s and Thornock’s, Sister-in-law, and granddaughters. A very special thanks to Hospice nurse’s, Julie, Lee and aide Bree who cared for her with kindness and respect. We couldn’t have done it without you.
