Albert Ray Richan

Albert Ray Richan died peacefully Friday, September 29, 2023, at Stonehenge Assisted Living. at the age of 85.

Albert is survived by his son, Kelly Brad Richan (Ogden), 1 grandchild, Bridgette Kruitbosch (Farr West), and 3 great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents, wife Marilyn, and grandson, Adam Lynn Richan.

Albert was born on January 23, 1938, in Hooper, Utah to Edgar Ray Richan and Velma Thompson Richan. He married Marilyn Marsh in 1956. They had one son while living in Brigham City for a while and then moved to Farr West City.

Albert retired from the Defense Depot of Ogden. He was very creative, he made several leather and stain glass pieces, he enjoyed painting, cooking and gardening. He was an avid Boy Scouter and was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

Funeral services are scheduled for 11 a.m. on Friday, October 6, 2023, at Myers Mortuary, 845 Washington Blvd., Ogden. A viewing will be held prior to the services from 9:40 to 10:40 a.m. A graveside service will be at the Brigham City Cemetery.
