Luke Layton Adams

September 26, 1930 – October 1, 2023
Luke was only son of Frank David and Leona Layton Adams. He was born at the Dee Hospital in Ogden, Utah and lived his entire life in Layton, Utah. He passed away on October 1, 2023, surrounded by family.
He married Diana Craythorne and had a family of two sons, David and Robert. He was blessed with four grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren, with one more on the way. Luke and Diana recently celebrated their 67th wedding anniversary.
Luke served in the United States Army as a Korean War combat veteran. He retired as a Computer Programmer at Hill Air Force Base. For 37 years he served as a volunteer firefighter for Layton City Fire Department. He also recently received his 60-year service award for his membership in the Utah State Firefighters Association.
Funeral services will be held Friday, October 6, 2023 at 2:00 pm at Lindquist’s Layton Mortuary, 1867 N. Fairfield Road, Layton, Utah. Friends may visit with family Thursday from 6:00 to 8:00 pm and Friday from 12:30 to 1:30 pm at the mortuary prior to the service.
Interment will be at Kaysville City Cemetery with full military honors.
