Dale Neil Anderson

Oct 4, 2023

June 25, 1943 – October 1, 2023

Dale Neil Anderson (80) of Ogden UT passed away on Sunday, October 1, 2023, of natural causes. Dale was born in Idaho Falls Idaho on June 25, 1943, the only child of Roscoe Odell and Elizabeth Jeanne Neil Anderson.

Dale lived in Idaho, Virginia, and California before moving to Salt Lake City in 1980. Later Dale lived in SunRiver, UT. Following the passing of his parents, Dale then moved to Ogden UT in 2004, when he became part of Don and Mary Belnap’s family. Dale spent the last two years at Avamere at Mountain Ridge Assisted Living, where Dale received tender care and made many friends.

Dale was a regular at many high school sporting events at Ogden and Ben Lomond high schools as well as all of the high schools in Weber county. You could always find Dale hanging out with the cheerleaders and occasionally he would watch the game. Don’s family expresses their appreciation to all high school administrators and coaches who watched over him over the years.

Dale loved to golf, and many came to know Dale as a regular at the Schneiter’s Riverside and Bluff golf courses. Dale and Don are so thankful for caring protection from all of the Schneiter family, Ernie, Brett, Julie, Jon, Lori and Crissy, as well as all the employees and those golfers who would make Dale part of their foursome. Dale had 3 holes in one, that we know of, though he claimed to have more. However, he was a golfer, so can you believe him?

Dale was kind and friendly and always wanted to help where he could.

Dale was an elder in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

He was preceded in death by his parents, all of his aunts and uncles and some of his cousins.
