Larry Baldwin passed away October 11, 2023 at his home in Roy, Utah. Larry was born in Logan, Utah on June 12, 1940 to Norman and Lula Baldwin.

Larry graduated from North Cache High School in Richmond, Utah. He was a skilled roofer and worked for Stucki Miller for twenty years. He also worked at Hill Air Force Base as a sheet metal mechanic. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. He loved sports, was a Vikings fan, and some years enjoyed watching the Utah Jazz. He loved to read and was a speed reader. Upon retiring, he and his lifelong friend, Bob Lee, spent many hours fishing and reminiscing the past. Larry loved spending time with his family and friends. He was a born storyteller and could spin a good story on the fly leaving everyone laughing.

He married Susan Richardson on October 23, 1978. They made their home in Roy, Utah. Together they have three children, five grandchildren, six great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

Larry is survived by his wife, Susan Baldwin; his children, Jodie Mack (Bret), Laurie Cox (Kelly), and Richard Grizzel; five grandchildren, Chelsea Jarvis (Nick), Colby Cox, Justin Grizzel (Whitney), Tyler Grizzel, Lauren Wood; and six great grandchildren Bentley, Payton, Hudson, Kaden, Kaylee, Peyton.

He is preceded in death by his parents, his brothers, his sisters, and two daughters.

Special thanks to the Huntsman Cancer Institute for their treatment and care during his valiant battle with cancer. The family would like to thank Dr. Holland, Thomas, Christina, and Lynsee at A Plus Healthcare for their assistance and care during his final days.

Funeral services will be Friday, October 20, 2023 at 11:00 am with a viewing prior to the services from 9:45 to 10:45 am. The viewing and services will be held at the Roy 10th Ward building at 5900 South 3100 West in Roy, Utah. Interment at Wellsville Cemetery located at 400 North 200 East at 2 pm.
