Mary “Liz” Elizabeth Stewart

Oct 18, 2023

April 22, 1964 – October 15, 2023

Our beloved mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, and friend, Mary “Liz” Elizabeth Stewart, passed away on October 15, 2023 at her home in South Weber. Liz was born April 22, 1964 to John and Mary Stewart. She spent most of her youth in Pocatello, Idaho and in Riverdale and Farr West, Utah. This is where she developed her love for horses and the outdoors. Liz graduated from Weber High School in 1982, where she was active in FFA. Most of Liz’s adult life was spent ranching in southern Idaho.

Liz loved horses and was always willing to share her time and talents. She volunteered judging horse shows and was a member of 4-H, Posse, Spikers Rodeo Club, and USWRCA Riding Club.

Liz’s greatest accomplishments and joy in her life are her two children, Kelly Nebeker and Max Beth McCammon. She loved them fiercely and dedicated her time to supporting them in their pursuits, cheering them on at rodeos or other various sporting events. This love and support for her family carried over to her grandchildren. Liz loved to share her grandchildren’s accomplishments, and often traveled to watch them play. Liz was their “biggest fan”! Everything Liz did in this earthly life was to leave a legacy of love for her “kiddos”.

Most recently, Liz has worked to create a beautiful home in South Weber with Carr Stark. Liz loved the Stark family and enjoyed spending time with them. Hunting with family and friends was very important to Liz. Time spent on the mountain was a comfort to her soul.

Liz has always been a hard worker from caring for her family, ranching, to her current position at Blue Compass RV. She took great pride in a job well done, and will be sorely missed by her work family.

Liz is survived by her companion Carr Stark; son, Kelly (Kendall) Nebeker; daughter, Max Beth McCammon (Cody Belveal); grandchildren, Rachel, Jakobi, Keevan, and Conner; mother, Mary (Larry) Allen; brothers, Morris (Michelle) Stewart, Layne (Lette) Stewart; sister, Kathy (Craig) Johnson.

She was preceded in death by her father, John W. Stewart, and brother, Johnny Stewart.

Friends may visit with the family Sunday October 22, 2023 from 6:00 - 7:30 p.m. at Lindquist’s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd, Ogden, Utah 84401.
