Logan — Harold “Blaine” Parker, 92 passed away on October 30, 2023, in North Logan, Utah. Blaine was born on July 5, 1931 in Wellsville, Utah to Harold Bradshaw Parker and Ruth Williamson Parker who were very happy with their first born. Blaine’s childhood was spent in Wellsville, where he attended Floradell Elementary and graduated from South Cache High School in 1949 and was voted “Most Popular Boy.” He married Gladys Jorgensen on June 20, 1951 in the Logan LDS Temple. Shortly after, he was inducted into the United States Army for a two-year tour of duty including one year in Frankfurt, Germany. Blaine returned from Germany and worked at Hill Air Force Base as a Supply System Analyst. He then worked at Defense Property Disposal Region One in Ogden, Utah as a Marketing Specialist and Auctioneer. He conducted auctions as a certified Auctioneer in ten different states selling surplus property for the United States Government. He auctioned everything from airplanes to machine tools. Blaine retired in 1990 but continued doing auctions for the Bureau of Land Management until he finally retired in 2014. He and Gladys lived in Roy, Utah and Riverdale, Utah. Blaine enjoyed bowling, traveling, hunting and fishing. He made friends wherever he went with his positive attitude and charm. Blaine is survived by his four daughters: Jannette (Kurt) Heywood of Layton, Utah, Katherine Parker of Hooper, Utah, Teresa (Kent) Harris of North Logan, Utah, Tamara Parker of Lehi, Utah; 20 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his sisters Thelma (Jerald) Seeholzer and Bonnie (Ron) Case, all of which reside in Wellsville, Utah. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Gladys Jorgensen Parker, brother Tom Parker, 1 grandson, 1 great- grandchild and 1 great-great granddaughter. A viewing for family and friends will be held on Friday, November 3, 2023 from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm at Allen-Hall Mortuary, 34 East Center Street., Logan, Utah.
