William James Wilson

William James Wilson, 72, passed away September 12, 2023. Bill was born February 24, 1951 in Brantford, Ontario, Canada to Mary Graham Trimble and Robert Judson Wilson. He attended W.P. Wagner High School in Edmonton, Alberta, and Red River Community College in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada.

Bill was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served in various position in Primary and within the Elders Quorum. He married Joyce Jesmer on September 23, 1989 in Ogden, Utah; their marriage was sealed in the Ogden Temple on October 23, 1990.

Baking was Bill's favorite hobby, especially pumpkin and apple pies.

Bill is survived by his wife of 34 years, Joyce; his daughter Shae Wilson Campos; 2 granddaughters, Sabrina and Xochitl Campos; 3 sisters Betty Stewons, Jane Chambers and Margaret Wilson. He was preceded in death by his parents and many uncles and aunts.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 3 p.m. on Saturday, September 23, 2023 at the Jackson Ward, 1029 26th Street.
