Jane Johnson

August 20, 1957 — September 7, 2023

Roy — Jane Eileen Johnson, 66, of Roy, Utah passed away Sept 7, 2023. She was born Aug 20th, 1957 in Ogden, Utah to Bert H. and Tina Visser.

Jane had a heart of gold and a zest for life that was contagious. You couldn’t help but smile and laugh whenever she was around. She recently retired and was spending every day to the fullest; She would say every day is Saturday. She took painting classes, did some gardening, and exercised at the gym stating she was officially an athlete now.

Jane loved traveling – Ireland, New York, and Bear Lake to name a few, but her favorite place was the Netherlands. It was always fun spending time with our Dutch relatives. She enjoyed seeing the sites including windmills, tulips, beaches, and she had to have croquettes every day.

Jane would say her greatest accomplishment was her children. She was so proud of the strong, kind, responsible, and funny adults they have become. She enjoyed every minute she spent with them whether it was going to lunch, seeing her grandkids, silly snap chat videos, hiking, playing board games, stopping by for mom hugs, or discussing how their day was. You couldn’t wipe the smile off her face when she talked about them.

Jane was preceded in death by her parents and sister Debra Visser. She is survived by her Children- Jilliene Cimmers (grandkids Evan & Parker), Sherilyn Johnson, Joel Johnson, Karlie Johnson, Jace Johnson; Siblings – Jackie Ririe, Wendy and husband Sam Snounou, Bert Roger Visser, Johanna Bailey-Graham.

While our hearts are broken with the loss of Jane, her laughter and spirit will remain in our hearts forever. She was amazing and touched the lives of everyone around her with kindness, love, and wisdom. We love and will miss her very much.
