Apr 2, 2024

Tricia Ann Workman Gilmore, 59, passed away peacefully in her home on Wednesday March 27, 2024 after a courageous battle with breast cancer. Tricia was born on January 24, 1965, alongside her twin sister, Trudy. She was born to Thomas Karl Workman and Charlotte “Sharlee” Kay Ambrose Workman. She was the fourth of four children.

She was born and raised in Ogden, Utah. On April 4, 1985, she met the love of her life, Bill Gilmore, and they were never far apart. They were married on July 3, 1987. Together they raised their children in Utah and Wyoming. Tricia had many hobbies, including being outdoors, camping, fishing, traveling, collecting rocks, and adding to her yard art collection. For the last few years, her and her husband traveled the country visiting many state and national parks.

Tricia was known for her radiant smile and infectious laugh. She had a positive presence in any room she entered. She loved her whole family and had a special love for her children and grandchildren. She had a love for animals, but especially her dogs. We were all lucky to have her in our lives and she will be greatly missed.

She is survived by her husband Bill Gilmore, sons Adam (Amy), Alex, Justin, Michael, and her grandchildren. Siblings: Wendy, Troy, and Trudy.

She is preceded in death by her father, Thomas Karl Workman, and mother, Charlotte “Sharlee” Kay Ambrose Workman.

There will be no funeral services, as per her request. There will be a private celebration of life for her this summer in the Uintas, which was her favorite place.
