Kaye Williams MacFarlane and Richard D. MacFarlane

Kaye Williams MacFarlane, 83, a devoted wife, sister, aunt, and friend, passed away peacefully on February 21, 2024 in South Jordan, Utah at The Peaks memory care Center, surrounded by family.

She was born on May 16, 1940 in Brigham City, the first child of John Shirley “Shirl” and Eleida Jensen Williams.

Kaye married her sweetheart, Richard Daniel MacFarlane on September 1, 1961 in Brigham City, Utah. Richard preceded her in death on March 25, 2022 at the age of 88, in Brigham City, Utah. He was born on February 8, 1934 the only child of Luella O. MacFarlane and Edward MacFarlane. They are survived by Kaye’s siblings, John Williams; Martha (Craig) Stewart; Wendy Kano; Alan (Brenna) Williams; Taryl (Dave) Shupe and many nieces and nephews that loved them both.

They are preceded in death by their parents, a sister-in-law, Linda Jordan Williams, and a brother-in-law, David Kano.

Memorial Services will be held on Saturday, April 27, 2024 at 11:00 am at Gillies Funeral Chapel, 634 E 200 S., Brigham City, Utah, where services will be streamed on line at https://gfc-utah.com/remember/kaye-macfarlane

Interment will follow at the Brigham City Cemetery, where military honors will be performed for Richard by the Combined Veterans of Box Elder County Honor Guard.
