Ralph Eugene Sabey

Ralph was born in Provo, Utah on 16 September 1934, son of Ross and Effie (Scott) Sabey.

In addition to his wife Evelyn Yarman Sabey, he was preceded in death by his son Roger William Sabey; 2 brothers and their spouses Scott & Opal (Clements) Sabey; Bruce & Kathleen (Rushton) Sabey; and 2 sisters Barbara Delvar Sabey; Phyllis Ann Sabey Dallin & spouse Melvin Dallin; 2 brothers-in-law James Denton Syme, Dale Robertson.

Survivors include: Daughter Elizabeth Ann Sabey Briggs, 4 Step-children Jim & Linda Yarman, Jo & Neil Hellewell, John & Arunee Yarman, and Jerry & Jennifer Yarman, 1 brother Phillip Sabey (Judy), 4 sisters, Eleanor or Ellie Sabey Syme, Susan Sabey Taylor Harris, Christine Sabey Robertson, Phillip Sabey (Judy), Jill Sabey Jackson (George), along with many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Ralph graduated from Spanish Fork High School in 1953 where he was active in Future Farmers of America. He then entered active-duty USAF, retiring 1 April 1974 as a Technical Sergeant, Aircraft Mechanic.

Ralph married his soul mate Evelyn Yarman Sabey on 2 June 1984 in Clearfield, Utah. They enjoyed square dancing and round dancing where Ralph was the round dance caller; golfing and traveling throughout the US to visit family and friends.

Ralph served in various capacities for the Westminster Presbyterian Church in Las Vegas for many years.

Ralph Sabey’s family will forever remember the professional and compassionate care provided Ralph during the past 2.5 years at both Legacy House at Park Lane of Farmington UT and Creekside Senior Living of Bountiful UT.
