Sandra E. (Sandi) Hollars Banta

1938 — 2024

Sandra E. (Sandi) Banta passed away unexpectedly early Tuesday morning, April 9, 2024, at her home in Clearfield, Utah. She was 85 years old.

Sandi is survived by her children, Jay Dee Banta, Katherine Banta Chadaz (Garth), and Kaylani Banta Garcia (Tomas – ex). She is also survived by 7 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren (and 1 due in July), and 2 great-great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister-in-law Brenda Banta Gregones and many, many nieces, nephews and cousins.

She is preceded in death by both parents, both parents-in-law, ex-husband Charles A. Banta, 2 brothers, and four sisters.

Funeral Services will be held Thursday, April 25, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. at the Lindquist’s Layton Mortuary, 1867 No. Fairfield Road Layton, Utah. Friends may visit with family Wednesday, April 24, 2024, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. and Thursday from 10:00 to 10:45 a.m.
