Thomas Michael Dohle, 40, died on April 13, 2024.

Thomas was born at McKay Dee Hospital in South Ogden, Utah on Sunday, April 8, 1984. He attended St. Paul Lutheran School, South Ogden Jr. High, and Bonneville High School graduating in 2002.

Thomas worked a variety of jobs including at Disney World, Michaels, and JoAnn’s where he made many of his friends. He proudly graduated with a 4.0 from Steven Henniger’s College with a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science. He went on to graduate with a 4.0 from North Central University with a master’s degree in computer technology. From there he worked at Business Software Solutions in Layton for 10 years.

Thomas was involved with many community activities. He played saxophone in the band at Bonneville and various instruments in the Riverdale City Band. He was an Eagle scout and used the skills he learned there to hike, fish, and camp with his family in the wildernesses of Idaho.

Thomas loved animals and was known to pick up stray or injured animals on the street and care for them. He was especially fond of his cat, Leonard, who he would dress up in creative costumes, take fishing and camping, and walk on a leash. He was an artistic person, enjoying attending the ballet, painting, and knitting gifts for his family and friends.

Thomas was a self-taught handyman, restoring his home and helping his family do what is needed around the house.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents.

He is survived by his parents, Bill and Anita Dohle, Aunt Susie (Richard), siblings Billy (Jenny), Amy (Chris), and Sam (Karen), nephews William, Matthew, Nicholas, Ian, Seth, Henry, Ethan and nieces Lynne and Alana and cousins Rachael, Emmalou (Brad) and Glen (Ciera). He is also survived by his cat, Leonard.

Family and friends are invited to gather on Saturday, April 20, 2024, at St. Paul Lutheran Church, 3329 Harrison Blvd in Ogden at 11am for a memorial service.

An inurnment at Leavitt’s Aultorest Memorial Park 836 36th Street, Ogden will take place at 1:00pm that day.

Memorials can be given in memory of Thomas to the American Humane Society.
