Michael (Mike) David Rowe age 71, passed away surrounded by his family at his home in Sunset UT on Wednesday, April 24, 2024.

Mike was born Feb. 19, 1953, to Daniel Eugene Rowe and Maxine Webb. He was the youngest of 3 children.

Mike graduated from Layton High School in 1971. He married the love of his life Vonda Kay Bradley on August 24, 1973. Together they built a life in Sunset, where they raised their 2 children.

Mike retired from HAFB in 2014 after 32 years as an Aircraft Sheet Metal Wage Lead. He enjoyed treasure hunting at estate sales for his eBay selling. Mike was a very creative person, he carved faces into golf balls and enjoyed making vanity license plate signs. Family meant everything to him, he loved telling them stories of his childhood. He was the happiest when he was surrounded by them and his group of cherished friends.

Mike loved life and made friends everywhere he went.

Mike is survived by his wife Vonda Rowe, daughter: Richelle (Brandon) Bishop, son: Courtney (Pamela) Rowe. 10 grandchildren: Haley (Brady) Muller, Caley (Michael), Avery, Jayden Spencer, Oakley (Makenzee), Bailey-Jade and Journey. 3 great-grandchildren: Zoey, Kobe and Kora. 2 brothers: Douglas Rowe and Sam Trujillo. many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents: Daniel and Maxine Rowe, sister: DeAnne Trujillo, sister-in-law: Julie Rowe, a special aunt: Dolores (Ordie) Rowe, and many pets he loved.

The family would like to thank all staff at Rocky Mountain Palliative and Hospice Care, U of U Hospital, and Huntsman Cancer Center for the gentle and loving care they provided him through his battle with cancer.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.

Thank you for being the best Husband, Father, Papa and Papa-G ever. You were a shining example of love and family. You will be dearly missed by many.
