In Memory of Lisa Ann Duran
October 12, 1964 – August 9, 2024
The day God called you home: God looked around his garden and found an empty space. Then he looked down upon the earth and saw your tired face. He put His arms around you, lifted you to rest. God’s garden must be beautiful. For He only takes the best. He knew that you were suffering. He knew that you were in pain. He saw the road was getting rough, and the hills were hard to climb. So, He closed your weary eyes. And whispered. “Peace be thine”. It broke our hearts to lose you. But you did not go alone. For part of us went with you. The day God called you home.
Our beloved sister, aunt and grandmother passed surrounded by family. She was born to Juan and Balbina Orosco on October 12, 1964, in Ogden, Utah. Lisa graduated from Ogden High School in 1983. She lived a life full of kindness and service. Lisa was a regular attendee at St. Joseph Catholic Church. She worked many charitable fund-raising functions for the church. Lisa loved her job working for Autoliv. Her hobbies were shopping, camping, attending Raptors and Bees baseball games with family and friends. She loved traveling. One of her favorite vacations was to Hawaii, with her sister Belen and brother Steve.
