Boyd Leon Rasmussen, a beloved father, patriot, and devoted member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, passed away on August 25, 2024, just shy of his 89th birthday. Born in Ogden, UT on September 6, 1935, to Andrew and Ila Galbraith Rasmussen, Boyd was an adventurous soul who lived a life filled with love, dedication, and zest for all he did.

Boyd will be dearly missed by his daughters Julie (Jason) Baker, Jill (Kirk) Godfrey, and Joan (Michael) Freestone, his daughter-in-law Liz (Alex) Easton, 13 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, siblings Keith (Mary Sue) Rasmussen, Kathleen (Glenn) Scadden, Vicki (Mark) Southwick and sister-in-law Beverly Rasmussen. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife Delsa, son Jay, grandson Jonas, parents Andrew and Ila, twin sister Barbara and brother Andrew.

Funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 31, 2024, 12:00 noon, with a viewing prior from 10-11:30 am, at the Taylor Canyon Ward, 1643 26th St., Ogden, Utah 84401. Interment at Evergreen Memorial Park, 100 Monroe Blvd., Ogden, Utah.
