Gayle was born July 3, 1937 in San Francisco California, to Carl Wallace and Violet Olson Breitenbuecher. After graduating from high school in 1955, she continued her education at Brigham Young University. She graduated from BYU with a degree in elementary education. She remained a loyal Cougar throughout the years.

On September 18,1958, Gayle married the love of her life Max Gustave Anderson for time and all eternity in the Salt Lake LDS temple. They raised their family in Pleasant View. She was a stay-at-home mom until her children were older and then she taught 5th grade at Valley Elementary.

Gayle loved to serve. Gayle and Max served an LDS mission to Nauvoo Illinois where they served as directors of the Rendezvous production. Gayle also served in the Ogden LDS temple.

Gayle is survived by her children David (Mindy) Anderson, Janeen Anderson, Gary (Lisa) Anderson and Connie (Kelly) Nielsen, 10 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren and two step-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, December 7, 2024, at Myers Mortuary, 845 Washington Blvd., Ogden. There will be a viewing prior from 10:00 to 11:00 followed by services at 11:30.
