Kathleen Ann Margers, 82, passed away peacefully at home on December 1, 2024.

She was born in Denver Colorado on September 17, 1942, to Ernest Joseph Gendron and Evelyn M Maxwell. She graduated from Derby High School in 1959. She later married Senior Airman Robert Brian Margers on December 2, 1961 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Derby, Kansas.

She followed him to many posts including Salina Kansas, Austin Texas, Warner Robins Georgia, Lein Maw Taiwan, Misawa Japan finally settling in Utah in 1976. Kathy was an avid reader and loved a good political or spy thriller. She was also a lover of dinosaurs, both real and the Jurassic Park variety, the movies she watched on endless repeats. She liked astronomy and science programs and looked forward to our return to the moon.

She was preceded in death by her parents: Ernest Joseph Gendron and Evelyn M Gendron (Maxwell), eldest son, Robert Alan Margers, (2001), her husband, Robert Brian Margers (2013).

She is survived by her son, David M Margers, sisters: Sheila Riley, and Mary Lords both of Austell, GA, and her brother, Michael Gendron of Brooksville, Florida.

Services will be held on Saturday, December 7, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. at St Mary’s Catholic Church, 4050 S. 3900 W. West Haven, UT 84401 followed by the interment at Evergreen Memorial Park 100 North Monroe Blvd, Ogden, UT 84404.
