Vachara Boonlom Johnson

Vachara Boonlom Johnson was born on March 22, 1951, in Takhli, Thailand to Lek and Wan Boonlom. She was a beacon of generosity and warmth, beloved by all who knew her. Vachara spent most of her life in Taylorsville, Utah, where she touched many lives with her loving, giving spirit.
Above all, what mattered most to Vachara was her family. She grew up being the third of eight siblings, with two brothers and five sisters, and talked fondly of them all. She went on to marry the love of her life, Carl Johnson on May 11, 1971. They spent 52 years together until his passing on August 8th, 2023. She was a proud mother to her daughter, Catharine (Jim) and son, William. Her favorite role was being a grandmother to Cheyanne (Dominique) and James (Destiny), and her love expanded to her great grandchildren, Jackson, Elizabeth, Aubrey, Emily, and James. Her love and devotion to her family were the cornerstones of her life, and she left behind a legacy of love that will continue to live on in their hearts.
Vachara will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Her generous, loving, supportive, and thoughtful nature will be remembered forever. We encourage anyone who knew Vachara to leave memories and upload photos to the memorial page, to help us celebrate and remember her life.
