DeeAnn Arnold Talbot
June 10, 1949 — February 22, 2024
DeeAnn Arnold Talbot, a Hooper Utah resident, peacefully passed away on the early hours of Sunday February 11, 2024, at home of complication from Sarcoidosis.
DeeAnn was born June 10, 1949, in Ogden, Utah, the daughter of Ruby and William (Jack) Arnold. She was raised in North Ogden and graduated from Weber High School. DeeAnn raised two beautiful girls, Darri and Dixie with first husband, Jonh Swanke. In 1980, DeeAnn met the love of her life, John Thomas Talbot and they were married December 1980.
DeeAnn and John moved to Ridgecrest, California where they spent 38 quality years building their home together. DeeAnn enjoyed running with her dogs and sometime would go for hours. What an adventure she would say. DeeAnn worked at Mervyn’s and Walmart serving others with the enlightened gift of gab, if she could say hi or how is your day it would fill her soul.
On June 15, 2007, DeeAnn and John Talbot were sealed in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Redlands Temple. From then on DeeAnn life was filled with service, sharing the gospel and enjoying time with her fellow ward members.
In her later years, DeeAnn, family and Dog became her focus in her life which brought her joy and happiness. It was the small walks around the block to reading books and telling wonderful stories. Red Grandma and GG you will be greatly missed!
DeeAnn is survived by her husband, John Talbot, two daughters, Darri Burton (Dennis), Dixie Mendal (Micheal), three step kids, Tom Talbot (Jenn), Wendi Weaver and Todd Talbot. In addition, her sisters Karen, Marylyn, Barb and brother Stanley. Her 17 grandkids and 21 great-grandkids.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Ruby and William (Jack) Arnold.
DeeAnn’s legacy is one of sharing, love and overwhelming kindheartedness. Her friends and family will remember her as a kind heart that was friends to all.
Despite experiencing pain almost every day, DeeAnn never complained of her circumstances and remained grateful.
A Graveside service will be held Friday, February 16, 2024, at 11 a.m. at the Hooper Cemetery, 5290 South 6300 West, Hooper, Utah.
A viewing will be held on Friday from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. at Lindquist Roy Mortuary, 3333 West 5600 South, Roy, Utah.
