Charles spent 56 glorious years in North Ogden, Utah, where he made an indelible mark in the community. He led a successful career in production control, where he demonstrated his exceptional skills as a manager, guiding his team with a steady hand and a compassionate heart. In the heart of the community, he was known for his commitment to his faith, serving as a ward missionary and temple worker, spreading love and devotion wherever he went. Charles was not just about work and faith; he found joy on the golf course, often seen perfecting his swing and soaking up the sun.

On March 20, 1959, in Elko, Nevada, Charles married the love of his life, Judy Sanders. Their love story, spanning 64 years, is a testament to their enduring commitment and mutual respect. Together, they raised two wonderful children, Jan, and Corey, who brought immense happiness and fulfillment into their lives.

Charles was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Faye Lofthouse; his brother Dale Lofthouse.

He is survived by his loving wife Judy, his daughter Jan Kapp (Neldon), and his son Corey Lofthouse, sister Omera Brown (Jay Dean), brothers Kent Lofthouse and Ronald Lofthouse (Valdi), 4 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren and 1 coming in March.

Charles’ life was a beautiful journey filled with passion, faith, and an endless love for his family. His spirit will continue to live on in the hearts of those who knew him.

A Viewing will be held Sunday, February 18, 2024, from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. at Myers Mortuary, 205 South 100 East, Brigham City, Utah. Funeral Services will be held at Myers Mortuary, Monday, February 19, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. with a Viewing preceding the funeral from 9:30 – 10:30 a.m. Interment will be in the Willard City Cemetery.
