Joyce E Kelly

Joyce E Kelly of Perry, Utah, left us on February 12, 2024. She enjoyed being with her extended family and friends whom she had met while living in Arkansas, California, and Utah. Joyce was preceded in death by her husband, Roger M. Kelly, and her oldest son, Tim Kelly, her two sisters, Patricia Ann (Tony) Stevens and Erma Faye (Gordon J.) Sanford, nephew Fred (Gilda) Myer, her parents, Ralston Matthew and Sarah Emma Hammons, and son-in-law Kelly (DeeDee) Colvin. Joyce was born in Kensett, Arkansas. She grew up loving to fish. She graduated from Cabot High School, in 1953. She met her love Roger, and they were married on Little Rock AFB in Jacksonville, Arkansas, on May 16, 1958. Tim and Tracy were both born in Arkansas. The family moved to California. DeeDee was born while living in Garden Grove. Joyce volunteered at the schools and received a “dedicated volunteer award. Joyce enjoyed motorcycle riding in the desert, Bowling with her day bowling leagues, and gambling. In 1978, the family picked up roots and moved to Perry, Utah. Joyce worked at American Greetings Corporation for five years. Joyce also loved animals and adopted every cat that came into her yard. She had a love for gambling and drinking Rum and Pepsi. She frequented Las Vegas. She retired from working and Joyce and Roger enjoyed traveling to Ireland, Mexico, Alaska, El Salvador, and Las Vegas. She is in a happy place and with the ones she loved and missed. She is survived by two daughters, Tracy Kelly, and DeeDee (Kelly) Colvin, four grandchildren, three greatgrandchildren, Sister-in-law Kathleen (Tom) Turner, nieces and nephews, and some good friends. We invite you to celebrate Joyce Kelly’s life by sharing your memories and photographs on her memorial page. Let us remember not just her departure, but the life she led, the love she cultivated, and the laughter she brought into our lives.
