Shane Douglas Wilson passed away unexpectedly on February 19, 2024 at the age of 33. He was born on February 2, 1991 to Kurt Wilson and Cheerie Bitton and lived most of his life in Huntsville, Utah.

He graduated from Weber High School in 2009, where he further developed his interest in welding. He later took machining and math courses at Ogden-Weber Applied Technology College. He was an excellent welder and fabricator. There was practically nothing he could not build out of steel. He worked in many different roles, including for the National Park Service in Grand Teton, Surge Hydraulics, Boman Kemp Steel, HHI Corporation, CCC Group, and as a self-employed fabricator and welder.

Shane was an excellent self-taught guitar player and drummer. He loved camping, fishing and being in the outdoors. Shane had a heart of gold and would help anyone in need. He was loved by many. He will be remembered for his many talents, his generosity, and his sense of humor.

Shane was preceded in death by his grandparents, two aunts and one uncle. He is survived by his parents; sisters, Amanda (Uriel) Salgado and Ashley (Jordan) Camp. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins. He will be deeply missed.

A Graveside service will be held at the Huntsville Town Cemetery, 5600 E. 100 So. on Wednesday, February 28, 2024 at 1:00 pm. A viewing for family and friends will be held prior from 10:30 am to 12:00 pm at Myers Mortuary, 845 Washington Blvd., Ogden, Utah.
