Jonathan Thomas Park

Feb 28, 2024

December 22, 1991 — February 24, 2024

Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well-preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside in a cloud of smoke, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming ‘Wow! What a Ride!’

~Hunter S. Thompson

Jonathan Thomas Park, age 32, passed away on February 24, 2024, in Ogden, Utah. He was born on December 22, 1991, in Portland, Oregon. An irreplaceable person. Lover of coffee, deep conversation, and large words that no one else dared to use. Our sweet Jonathan had a heart that shined so brightly it put the stars, and even the sun to shame.

His beatific eyes lit up at the sight of his baby, his baboo, and his buddies. Jonathan made whomever he was with feel like an essential person capable of accomplishing any challenge. He helped reveal the beauty and incredulous gifts that exist within each of us. Jonathan took on the injustices of society with a pen, paper, and a mind too great for this world.

He earned two Bachelor’s degrees in Environmental and Sustainability Science and Political Science from the University of Utah and a Juris Doctorate from William and Mary Law School. Beyond his academic accomplishments Jonathan was a published author, creative artist, and a walking work of art.

Jonathan is survived by his mother, Michelle Williams; his stepfather, Nathan Williams; his father, Todd Park; his sister, Tana Park; his half half-brother, Trey Park; his soulmate, Madison Kramer; his beautiful daughter, Cosette Michelle Park; his grandparents, Dianna Park, Jeffery Park, Suzanne Bazin, Curtis Williams, and Kathy Williams.

A Celebration of Life in memory of Jonathan will be held on Saturday, March 2, 2024, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Copper Nickel Events, 2450 Grant Avenue, Ogden, Utah.

Jonathan will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
