It is with profound sadness and a deep sense of loss that we announce the passing of Jean Petersen Goodsell. Jean, a lifelong resident of Ogden, Utah, was born on September 21, 1940, to Farrel Morgan Petersen and Avon Hyde, and left this world surrounded by her children on December 3, 2023, after a short battle with cancer. She leaves behind a legacy of beauty and cherished memories.
Jean’s memory will continue to shine brightly in the hearts of those she touched. As we bid farewell to Jean, we celebrate the remarkable woman she was. Please join us for a celebration of Jean’s life, January 21, 2024, from 4:00pm-7:00pm at Leavitt’s Mortuary, 836 36th Street, Ogden, Utah.
