Jan 16, 2024

November 27, 1948 — January 12, 2024

Louise Rae McFadden, 75, passed away January 12, 2024, suddenly and unexpectedly of natural causes. Her passing leaves a big hole in many hearts! Lou was born November 27, 1948, in San Bernardino, California and was raised in many places being part of an Air Force family.

She came to Roy, Utah in 1963 and resided in Syracuse for over 40 years. Lou was happily married to Jeff McFadden for over 28 years and previously married to Edward Frearson for 13.

Lou and Jeff enjoyed traveling together and were soul mates. They loved each other’s company and celebrated life daily from their Jamaica honeymoon through the end.

Lou had a very proud and successful career with the Civil Service for over 31 years, from clerk to buyer/contracting officer in the Directorate of Contracting and Manufacturing at Hill Air Force Base.

She made many friends whom she lifted with her ready smile, laugh, and zest for living. She loved people and was passionate about animals, giving a safe home to many through the years. She always made room at her table for any friends of the family and was known for her genuine compassion and love for all. Lou loved her family and friends with all her heart.

Lou is survived by her husband, Jeff McFadden, Syracuse; son, Casey Frearson, Syracuse; grandchildren, Natasha (Kevin) Slater, West Haven; Stephen Frearson, Brigham City; and Shanna Frearson, Clearfield; siblings, Jim (Jan) Kenyon and Rick Kenyon, both of Phoenix; and Cindy Sikes, Roy; mother-in-law, Jean Lawrence, East Texas; and seven great-grandchildren; plus many nieces and nephews that treasured their time together.

Lou was recently reunited with her daughter, Staci of Emmett, Idaho, who was adopted out many years ago. For her it was a joyful reunion!

Lou also had a very special relationship with her dear friend, Cheryl Wheelwright, who gave her years of counsel, laughter, and listening ears.

She was preceded in death by parents, Harry and Avis Graham Kenyon.

A Memorial Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, January 20, 2024, at 2 p.m. at Lindquist Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd. Friends may visit family on Saturday from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. at the mortuary.
