Carole Adele Lung, born on the celebrated day of December 25, 1937, in Tremonton, UT, was a woman of exceptional strength, intelligence, and spirit. Her journey across the globe, from Ogden to California, Ohio, and Arizona, and back to her birth state, Utah, was more than a testament to her adventurous spirit. It was a reflection of her resilient nature and adaptability, qualities that served her well during the various military assignments she undertook with her husbands.

Carole’s life was a colorful tapestry woven with threads of diverse achievements and passions. She was a dedicated secretary in an insurance company, Mutual of Omaha, where her diligence and commitment were recognized and appreciated. Her entrepreneurial spirit shone bright when she owned a grocery store in Provo. Later, she served as a camp host for many years, where her love for people and life was infectious. Carole’s hobbies painted an even more diverse picture of her life. She was a talented crocheter and oil painter, a skilled cook, and a gifted musician, playing the violin and organ. Her love for Wendover was well-known among her loved ones, a passion that brought her immense joy.

Carole’s heart was a treasure chest of love, caring for everyone who had the privilege of knowing her. She was the beloved mother to Christopher Coker, Joy Hughes, Robin Lung, David Lung, and Evelyn Cordner, and a cherished sister to Denise Lung, Helen Boyer, LeAnn Morgan, and Wayne Frisbey. Her love reached beyond her immediate family, touching the lives of her step-children and other relatives. Carole’s radiant spirit lives on in all those she left behind.

Carole’s journey came to an end on January 25, 2024. She was preceded in death by her father, Joseph Frisbey, her mother, Adele, her husband, Teddy Lung, daughter Pat Hughes, and sons Wesley Hughes, and James Hughes, as well as her brother, Lynn Frisbey.

Join us for a viewing in honor of Carole on Thursday, February 1, 2024, at 10:30 AM at Myers Mortuary – Brigham City, 205 South 100 East, Brigham City, Utah, 84302. A funeral service will follow at 12:00 PM at the same location.
