Curtis Charles Bybee, 91, passed away July 20, 2024 in Washington Terrace, Utah. He was born December 10, 1932 in Uintah, Utah to Raymond Curtis and Priscilla Hodson Bybee.

Curtis graduated from Weber High School and served in the United States Navy during the Korean War. He married Jessie Mae Ruthmeyer who preceded him in death. Following Jessie’s death, he married Reita Mae Moulton Hansen Garner on June 22, 1985, and she preceded him in death.

He was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, where he served in many positions for many years. Curtis was a master carpenter and enjoyed helping many people with his carpentry skills. He was an avid hunter, enjoyed golf, loved to travel, and was a wonderful spouse, father, grandfather, great grandfather and great great grandfather.

Curtis is survived by his children Randy (Audrey) Bybee, Dennis Bybee, Penny (Chet) Stark, Tracy J. Dean Hansen, Jodi Perkins, and Kristi (Russell) Moore; son-in-law Guy Ewing; 20 grandchildren; 27 great grandchildren, 1 great great grandchild; siblings Raymond Bybee, Gary Bybee, Lyle Bybee, Rita Brown, Jean Jamison and Della Allen. He is preceded in death by his parents, both wives, siblings Delane Bybee, and Ellen Eagon; children Daniel, Russell and Teri; grandsons Bren Ewing and Beau Stark.

Funeral service will be Friday, July 26, 2024, 10:00 a.m. with a viewing Thursday, July 25, 6-8 p.m. at Myers Mortuary, 845 Washington Blvd., Ogden, Utah. Interment will be at Uintah Cemetery, 1500 East 6450 South, Uintah, Utah 84405.
