2001 – 2024

With profound sadness, we announce the passing of William Michael Wise, a beacon of light in our lives, on July 18, 2024. Born on August 17, 2001, in Salt Lake City, Utah, William spent his youthful years embracing life and everything it had to offer.

William was a captivating presence known for his compassionate nature and creative spirit. His fervor for life was infectious. He loved sharing information with others, making connections, and involving people in his world. His limitless curiosity was evident in the diverse array of interests he pursued. William was an avid animal lover, a talented Magic The Gathering player, an enthusiastic music fan, and a devoted participant in D&D. His love for reading, art, computer games, Scouts, bowling, crafting lyrics, drawing, camping, watching anime, playing Warhammer and other board games, and simply going on drives, demonstrated his boundless zest for life.

His intelligence was not limited to his smart strategies in board games or his knowledge about animals. William was a proud 2018 graduate of Davinci High School, demonstrating his commitment to learning and personal growth. Above all else, William cherished his family. He held dear the memories of going to the Oregon coast with his loved ones, a testament to his deep affection for family connections. His family would like to extend their gratitude to Huntsman Mental Health Institute for their continuous care and support over the years, as well as to all of William’s friends, whose companionship enriched his life immeasurably. A special mention goes to his Aunt Kati, who showered William with unconditional love and support.

William is survived by his mother, Audrey Wise, father, Chad Wise, and sister, Tatum Wise. He was preceded in death by his loving grandmother, Kolette McClurg.
