Jack Gilbert Talbot

1932 – 2024
Jack Gilbert Talbot passed away Monday, June 10, 2024 at the age of 91 surrounded by his loving family.
Jack was born on August 28, 1932 in Medford Oregon to Charles Stewart Talbot and Evelyn Beatrice Taylor. Jack was the second oldest of 8 children.
Jack joined the U.S. Navy in March of 1952 and served during the Korean War. Jack was honorably discharged in 1954 and later joined U.S. Navy Seabees NRMCB-2 in which he retired after many years of service.
Jack married his sweetheart, Betty Jane Dickey on October 5, 1956 and together they had two sons, Bryan Charles Talbot and Michael William Talbot.
Jack worked and retired from Hill Air Force Base as a Utilities Repairman. Throughout his life he enjoyed hunting and activities with his family.
Surviving is his wife of 67 years, Betty (Dickey) Talbot of Roy, UT; two sons, Bryan Talbot of Roy, UT, Michael (Kori) Talbot of Plain City, UT. Three grandchildren, Zack (Lindsey) Talbot, Josh Talbot and Morgan Talbot, and special Daughter-in-Law Kris Talbot. His sisters Gayle Hale, Myrna Farrar, brother Devon (Paula) Talbot.
He was preceded in death by his parents, sister Lorraine Facer, brothers Don Talbot, Dennis Talbot, and Brent Talbot.
Jack was very proud of his family. He especially enjoyed activities with his grandchildren whom he loved dearly. He was privileged to also have two Great Grandchildren, Sofia and Ryker Talbot.
We will miss you very much “you little bugger, you!”

Services will be at 12:30 pm on Friday, June 14, 2024 at Myers Mortuary, 5865 S. 1900 W., Roy Utah followed by Graveside service with Military Honors at the Clinton Cemetery.
