Dennis Bednarik

1943 – 2024

Dennis Frank Bednarik, 81, passed away at home Feb. 26, 2024, after a long debilitating illness. He was born Jan. 31, 1943 in Salt Lake City to Frank and Irene McClure Bednarik. He married Barbara Tate in 1967. Dennis worked for the IRS in Ogden for 40 years. He is survived by his wife; children: Jennifer (Doug) Cook, Heidi (John) Blaylock, Mark (Rosalie) Bednarik, and Jeffrey Bednarik; seven grandchildren; and brothers Gerald and Steven. Funeral services will be held Monday, March 4, at 11:00 a.m., at 3755 Porter Ave., Ogden. Friends may call from 9:45 to 10:45 before the services.
