Flora Ann Pierce Poulter, 85, passed away March 7, 2024, in Ogden, Utah. She was born to George Lawrence Pierce and Flora Crawford Liddell on March 18, 1938, in Ogden, Utah.

She attended Ben Lomond High School and Weber State University. Flora married Larry Wilson Poulter on August 11, 1956, in Evanston, WY and their marriage was solemnized in the Logan Temple on August 21, 1963. Flora was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, and served in the Stake Young Women’s Presidency, the ward and branch Relief Society Presidency, and as Relief Society President.

Flora sold Avon and Mary Kay products, worked in school lunch, volunteered at Doctor’s Office, McKay Hospital as President of Volunteers, and was a CPR/First Aid Instructor for the Red Cross. She was very artistic and loved to sew dresses for her daughters. She enjoyed art especially watercolor painting. She also enjoyed jewelry making, crafts and baking. Flora was an accomplished dancer in tap, ballet, baton, hula, and was an accomplished pianist.

Flora is survived by her husband Larry Wilson Poulter; children Linda (Rick) Bottiger, Steven (Patti) Poulter, Sharon (Bruce) Hyde, Carolyn (David) Bell, Laura (Court) Hatch, Julie (Tyler) Vincent and Jennifer (Brandon) Grizzell; 16 grandchildren and 34 great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her father George Lawrence Pierce; mother Flora Crawford Liddell; and brother George Lawrence Pierce Jr.

The family extends gratitude to McKay Dee Hospital ICU staff and Intermountain Health Hospice Care for the great tender care they gave to Flora.

Services for Flora will be held at 11 am on Friday, March 15, 2024 at the Mt. Lewis 1st Ward, 435 N. Jackson Ave. Ogden, UT. A viewing will be on Thursday from 6-8 pm at Myers Mortuary, 845 Washington Blvd. Ogden, UT and at the church on Friday from 9:30-10:30 am.

Interment, Evergreen Memorial Park.
