Donald Rose

1934 — 2024

Donald C Rose, 89, Passed away peacefully Monday March 18th 2024 at his home in North Ogden.

Don was born December 1st,1934 in Ogden Utah. He was the youngest of 6 children to Lloyd and Afton Rose. He was preceded in death by his 5 siblings, his son Kevin, and his Wife Donna He is survived by 4 children Larry (Lyda) Rose, Brent (Anita) Rose, Scott (Heidi) Rose, Lisa (Scott) Stone. 14 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren, and 1 great, great grandchild.

Don married Donna Rawson on June 10, 1954 and were later sealed in the Logan, Utah LDS Temple. They lived their lives in Utah, Residing in Ogden, Huntsville, and North Ogden.

Don worked most of his life at W.R. White Pipe Company where he was a Truck Driver and a Shop/Fleet Manager. He was known as a hard worker and built many friendships. He also emphasized the value of hard work to his children.

Don enjoyed the outdoors, boating, and traveling the western US with Donna. He also had a great sense of humor.

Funeral services will be held in the LDS Chapel at 2850 N 950 E, North Ogden, Utah on Saturday, March 23, 2024. Viewing from 9:30-10:30 AM. Funeral at 11:00 AM. Interment will follow at Washington Heights Memorial Park.

The family would like to give thanks to the workers at Bristol Hospice with a special thanks to Ashley, RN. Also, gratitude for the help and companionship of his friend Sandy Lott.
