Welby “Terry” Iverson

Terry was born November 23, 1943, in Ogden, Utah, to his loving parents Welby and LuElla Iverson.
He passed away July 24, 2025, peacefully in his sleep, at home, just the way he wanted to.
Terry lived his life in his beloved Ogden. Living in just two homes. The one he was raised in, with his dear sister, Marlene, who preceded him in death. And the one, he so proudly shared with his wife and raised his family in.
A proud graduate of the first class at Bonneville High School, he graduated in 1962. Terry excelled and lettered in basketball. He made many life-long friends there, some in which have visited him over the last few weeks, our family is so grateful.
On February 6, 1975, Terry married the love of his life, Vinette Donaldson. We can only imagine the scolding Vinny gave him over what took him so long to join her.
Terry’s career was in the beverage industry. Starting first with loading trucks with 7-Up, he then advanced to Coca-Cola, where he proudly served many in the Ogden area. Terry mentored many fellow employees and developed great relationships.
Terry and Vinette were the proud parents of their two sons. Chad Iverson and Travis {Paige) Iverson.
Papa Welby is the very proud grandpa to 5 grandchildren, 6 great-children with two more on the way.
We will honor the incredible life of Terry, at a Celebration of Life, on Friday, August 8th from 4-7pm at Leavitts Mortuary, 836 36th St in Ogden.
Condolences may be shared with the family at www.leavittsmortuary.com
