He is survived by his wife Linda, his children; Michael Scott Smith (Cassi Turner) and Tyson Charles Smith “Eloise”, and his siblings; Dean Smith (Cindy) Dale Smith (Betty), Robert Smith (Diana), Sheri Dattilo and Evelyn Woolsey (Wally), and two grandchildren; Anabelle and Alexander.

He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Lucile Smith, his brother Scott Jay Smith and niece Rachael Spencer.

Viewings will be held on Sunday, August 17, 2025, at Muskrat Springs Ward, 5000 South 5900 West, Hooper, UT 84315 from 4:00 – 6:00 p.m. and Monday, August 18, 2025, from 9:30 – 10:30 a.m. A funeral service will be held on Monday, August 18, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. also at the church. Interment will be at the Hooper City Cemetery 5301 S. 6300 W. Hooper UT 84315.
