F. Robert “Bob” Montanez of Park City passed away August 6, 2025 in Palm Springs, CA. He was born in Los Angeles, October 10, 1932 to Ramon and Maria Montanez. Bob is survived by his sister, Ana Cordero, two sons, Eugene (Paula) Montanez, Dennis Montanez, Lorraine Munoz, five grandsons, Tony (Randi) Montanez, Paul (Brittani) Montanez, Michael (Mellissa) Castrejon, Bobby (Angela) Montanez, Jonathon (Elyse) Montanez, and fourteen great-grandchildren. Bob graduated from Garfield High in LA, served in the U.S. Marines, retired after a long career with Rockwell Intl., and owned Zuma’s Cantina on 25th Street in Ogden. He loved snow skiing, sailing, gemology, coins, and cooking. “Bob, Grandpa Bob, Zuma” will live forever in our hearts, minds and voices.
