Raone Rader Collings

September 8, 1935 – August 21, 2025
Raone Rader Collings, 89, of Brigham City, passed away Thursday, August 21, 2025, of natural causes. She was born September 8, 1935, in Perry, Utah, to Chester Eugene and Gwenith Davis Rader. She grew up in Corinne and graduated from Box Elder High School in 1953.
On July 13, 1954, Raone married her high school sweetheart, Glenn Holton Collings, in the Logan LDS Temple. Soon after, Glenn was stationed in Germany with the U.S. Army, and Raone joined him there later that year. Their time together in Germany remained among her most cherished memories.
A devoted member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Raone served faithfully in many callings, including Junior Primary Music Leader. She was known for her generosity and kindness, often crocheting afghan blankets for loved ones and remembering every birthday and special occasion.
Raone especially loved the Christmas season, decorating her home and sharing treats with family, friends, and neighbors. She enjoyed drives through Box Elder and Sardine canyons with Glenn to admire the autumn leaves and often said winter was the most beautiful time of year.
She is survived by two sons, Robert Kurt and Jerry (Kristi) Collings; 11 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; son-in-law and daughter-in-law, Richard and Julie Bott; and son-in-law, Marc Larsen. She was preceded in death by her husband, Glenn; two daughters, Debbie (Marc) Larsen and Judy (Richard) Bott; her parents; brother, Russell; and sisters, Darlene (Wesley) Hansen and Carol (Arlo) Yates.
