Rita Gayle Woodward
Rita Gayle Woodward, age 73, went back to her Heavenly Father on Nov. 30, 2025. She slipped away peacefully in her bed at the University of Utah Hospital surrounded by her family after succumbing to the effects and complications of multiple strokes.
Rita was born, raised, and lived her life fully in Ogden. She worked for the IRS until she retired. She had a love for children and worked part time in an elementary school tutoring the kids. She loved nature, sewing, and most of all spending time with her family and friends, of which she leaves behind many that will forever miss and remember her.
Funeral services will be held at Provident Funeral Home 3800 South, Washington Blvd, Ogden UT, 84403. Viewing will be Monday, December 8, 2025, from 6-8 p.m. and funeral services will be on Tuesday, December 9, 2025, at 11 a.m. Interment will follow in the Ogden City Cemetery.
