Steve lived a life filled with joy and purpose until his departure on December 18, 2025, after a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer.
He graduated from Box Elder High School in 1958 as an all-star football player. He later attended Stevens Henegar College, Utah State University, and received his bachelor’s degree from Weber State University.
He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and served a two-year mission in his youth to the Western States Mission in Colorado and New Mexico. He proudly served his country by joining the Marine Corp Reserves.
