Dan was born October 29, 1943, in Ogden, Utah son of Daniel John Miller Sr. and Ruby Katherine Christensen.

Dan graduated from Ogden High School 1961 and resided in Ogden until 1965.

He met the love of his life Kathleen Polson and married her on April 9, 1965, they built their lifelong home in Farr West. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Ogden Temple.

Together they were blessed with 5 children, Daniel John (Heather) Miller III, Michael Paul (Robyn) Miller, Sheri Lynn (Todd) John, Angela Diane (Chris) Kinser and Steven Ray (Crystal) Miller. The have 41 grandkids, 28 great grandkids and one on the way.

Dan retired from Central Weber Sewer Improvement District. He had many talents, being a great welder, repairing machinery and building new parts. He was also known for fixing things for family and friends.

Dan & Kathy enjoyed family trips, camping, ATVing, and any trips spent with special friends John & Colleen Stewart. Many adventures, fun times, and laughs were shared. Thank you both.

Dan was preceded in death by his Grandparents, parents and sister Karen Doe.

He is survived by his wife Kathy, his children, grandchildren and his brother Arnold Reed Miller.

The family wishes to thank Wendy, Landon, Lynn and all the nurses at Davita Dialysis. We are so thankful for all our help and caring. You were very special to Dan.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, February 15, 2025 at the Farr West 1st Ward, 1800 West 1800 North. Viewings will be held at the church on Friday, February 14th t from 6 to 8 p.m. and Saturday prior to the service from 9 to 9:45 a.m.
