William Laray Hodson

William Laray Hodson, 90, of Ogden, Utah, passed away peacefully at home on December 15, 2024. Born on August 14, 1934, in Layton, Utah, Bill developed a lifelong passion for aviation at 16. As a flight instructor at Ogden Airport and a corporate pilot for Hertz Rent A Car and Jack B. Parson, he impacted many lives and built lasting memories. Bill was preceded in death by his parents, siblings, and his son Bill. He is survived by his wife Elynn, daughters Jill (Don) Carper, Marti Hodson, and Jennifer (Travis) Canfield, stepchildren Amy (Tom) Blandi, John (Sherry) Jessop, and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. A Celebration of Life will be held on January 17, 2025, from 4-7 pm at the Ogden Country Club.
