Irene H. Ogata Bishop
June 4, 1925 — June 29, 2025
Born in Paul, Idaho, June 4, 1925, to Itaro and Sada Ogata. Moved to Jerome, Idaho, at the age of three. Attended schools there, graduating from Jerome High School.
Later enrolled and graduated from the Twin Fall Business College. Worked at the North Side News as a bookkeeper. There she met Charles and they were married in 1955.
Move to Clearfield, Utah, in 1966, where Charles was employed at Hill Air Force Base. Irene was employed at IRS in Ogden, Utah, and retired there.
Surviving is her husband, Charles; and son and daughter-in-law. She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, George Ogata and Tsuneo Ogata; and sister, Haruko Yamazaki.
Graveside services will be held on Saturday, July 5, 2025, at 11 a.m. at Lindquist’s Washington Heights Memorial Park, 4500 Washington Blvd.
