Randy Rocco Guerriero

It is with a heavy heart we bid farewell to a one-of-a-kind character, Randy Rocco Guerriero, known lovingly by the grandkids as Grandpa Bucco, who passed away on Tuesday, June 24, 2025. Born in Ogden, UT on March 13, 1951, Randy spent his 74 years making the world a funnier place, one wisecrack at a time. His hobbies included golf (where he won many tournaments), cooking (his secret spaghetti sauce recipe goes with him), crossword puzzles, and gardening. Randy served the United States in the Army, Air Force and National Guard for a total of 12 years. A member of the VFW and Eagles, Randy spread his spirited energy and witty banter wherever he went.
Randy was the kind of guy who would make you laugh until you cried, and then make you laugh some more. He was a loving father to Jenn (Chris) Van Beuge and a joking brother to Steve (Pam) Furniss and Tina Guerriero. As Grandpa Bucco, he held a special place in the hearts of his grandchildren, Gabriel Mendez and Chelsea Wheelwright. He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Mona Guerriero, and his sister, Francine. If Randy lived by any creed, it was this: to approach life with resilience, a dash of humor, and a whole lot of patience.
The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to Juan Betancourt for the friendship and care he gave to Randy.
