Joseph Garry Bramble

Joseph Garry Bramble, a loving and spirited soul, passed away on the 6th of July, 2025. Born in Ogden, Utah on the 11th of November, 1945, Joe lived a life of humble dedication to his family, faith, and community. His life was a testament to the verse from The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints – “When ye are in the service of your fellow beings ye are only in the service of your God” (Mosiah 2:17). This verse beautifully encapsulates the essence of his spirited existence.
Joe was a man of many accomplishments. He graduated from Ogden High School and Weber State and worked diligently as a Glazer for Crittenden Paint & Glass. Later in life, he served his community as a beloved custodian at the Egyptian event center, where his warm personality and humble nature were appreciated by all who encountered him. He also fervently served his religious community, having served a mission in Scotland and in many callings for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Despite his many achievements, what mattered most to Joe were his 10 grandkids, who he idolized and cherished deeply. His hobbies of reading, skiing, and visiting places were always more enjoyable when shared with his grandchildren.
Joe leaves behind a legacy of love and service. He is survived by his children Richard Bramble, Sheri (Brett) Hofeling, and Kristin (Jeremy) Passey. He also leaves behind his sister Carolyn Bramble, his brothers Ray (Marcia) Bramble and Dale (Ann) Bramble, his sister-in-law Jody Bramble, and his dear family friend Gabby Lopez. He is preceded in death by his parents Elwood and Melba, and his brothers Glen, Norman, and Dennis Bramble.
As we remember Joe, we invite you to share your memories and upload photos to his memorial page. Each story, each picture, each shared moment adds to the tapestry of his well-lived life. Let us celebrate the life of Joseph Garry Bramble – a loving grandfather, a humble servant, and a spirited soul who will be deeply missed.
