Leslie Ann Arnold

July 25, 1957 – July 9, 2025
Leslie Ann (Ozmun) Arnold was born to Duane and Beverly Ozmun in Ogden, Utah, on July 25, 1957, and passed away on July 9, 2025, at the age of 67. Leslie spent her life in Utah, graduating from Roy High School and later in life, going back to school at Weber State University to become a Registered Nurse.
She spent years as a hospice nurse bringing patients and their families the very best care and peace and comfort in their most difficult moments. She continued working as a nurse in various capacities until the time of her passing.
She was a lifelong member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, serving willingly and lovingly wherever she was needed. She loved her Savior, Jesus Christ and was the best example of his unconditional love and constant care.
She loved traveling with her family and friends and was up for any adventure. Whether it was pina coladas on a beach in Hawaii or hiking Machu Picchu in Peru, she never hesitated to say yes. Time together and experiences were what she valued most and we’re all so lucky to have had those memories with her.
Leslie was an amazing and dedicated mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, affectionately known by many (related or not) as Grandma Leslie. She lived her life in service to others, and there was never a doubt in anyone’s mind that she loved them and would do anything to bring them joy. Whether it was a favorite treat, a hug, or a phone call, she always knew how to make you feel seen and adored. We will all miss Sunday dinners where there was a home cooked meal (with way too much food), “Funky Punch”, and brownies. All of her children and grandchildren were convinced that they were her favorite and they were all right. She was so invested in those around her, and her face would light up when talking about their lives and their accomplishments. Her life revolved around loving and supporting her family and she never missed a play, a recital, or a sporting event where she could cheer them on.
She is preceded in death by her parents, and her brother, Paul Ozmun. She is survived by her siblings Chris Ozmun, Lori (Robby) Rodrigues, Jenny (Ryan) Holtry, and Andy (Emily) Ozmun, her children, Kady (Kirt) Peterson, Taft (Lesha) Arnold, Abby (Jon) James, Libby (Colby) Carter, and Logan (Jessie) Arnold, and 14 grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, July 16th, at the LDS Chapel at 2915 W. 4275 S. Roy, Utah, at 10:30 AM. Friends and family are invited to a viewing at the chapel on Tuesday, July 15th, from 6-8 PM, or Wednesday from 9-10 AM.
Interment, Lindquist Memorial Gardens of the Wasatch at 1718 Combe Road in Ogden.
