Dale Richard Cottrell
Dale Richard Cottrell, age 85, passed away on June 10, 2025. He was born to Dale and Emma Cottrell on December 13, 1949, in Ely, Nevada. On August 13, 1969, Dale was sealed to his eternal companion, Mary Naomi Millspaw, in the Salt Lake Temple. Together, they raised their seven children: Keri (David) Bateman, Natalie (Brandon) Smith, Andy (Amy) Cottrell, David (Krista) Cottrell, Ryan (Sabrina) Cottrell, Tina (Spencer) Crookston, and Erika Cottrell.
Dale is preceded in death by his wife, Mary, his son, David, his parents, his sister, Sue Cottrell Gulley, and his granddaughter, Jacie Cottrell. He is survived by his sister, Marion (Theo) O’Donnell, his children, eleven grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.
A viewing will be held on Wednesday, June 18, 2025, from 10 to 10:45 AM at the Clearfield Utah Stake Center at 935 South State Street, Clearfield, Utah. A Graveside Service will follow at 11:15 AM at the Clearfield City Cemetery, 1050 South State Street, Clearfield, Utah. Services entrusted to Myers Mortuary.
