Henry P. Givens (1938-2025)
Henry Paul Givens, 86, of Layton, Utah, died on June 8, 2025.
He was born in Kimberly, Idaho, in 1938 to Silas J. and Martha A. (Meunier) Givens, growing up in Kimberly and graduating from Kimberly High School. He married the love of his life, Janet R. Roemer in 1958 in Twin Falls, Idaho. They had 2 sons, Rick and Gregory. They moved to Fruit Heights, Utah, in 1976 for Henry’s sales career with Wonder Bread – Hostess Cakes.
Henry was preceded in death by his father, mother, brother, Richard Givens, and uncle, Robert Givens. Henry is survived by his wife, Janet Rae (Roemer) Givens, son Rick L. Givens, and wife Mary E. (Rosio) Givens, son Gregory L. Givens, grandchildren Walter M. Rosio and Jennifer R. Rosio.
Funeral services will be held Friday June 20, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. at Lindquist’s Layton Mortuary, 1867 N. Fairfield Rd., Layton, Utah. Family and friends may visit Friday prior to services from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. at the mortuary. Interment Lindquist’s Memorial Park at Layton.
